Aurelia

Selected materials

Oak, microcement, natural linen

We began this project with a desire to simplify the flow through the interior. In an apartment built during the modernist era, we removed unnecessary partitions to create a clear visual axis. The result is a space that breathes, where every object has its own clearly defined place.

Natural light is more than an accessory—it’s what sets the rhythm of your day. We chose matte finishes to absorb and softly reflect the sun’s rays, avoiding harsh glare. The white walls, with their subtly rough texture, give the space depth without making it feel visually crowded.

Solid oak furniture brings a welcome warmth to this minimalist setting. We designed each piece to serve multiple purposes, preserving the visual order you crave after a busy day.

Simplicity isn’t the absence of design, but the balance between function and emotion.

We selected the materials for the way they feel to the touch. Here are the key elements of this interior:

  • Microcement flooring: a seamless surface that visually unifies every room.
  • Linen fabrics: for curtains that filter the light with a warm softness.
  • Brass details: subtle accents that grow more beautiful with age.

Project M shows that a small home can offer a sense of spaciousness when its proportions are carefully considered. We set out to create an urban retreat where peace and quiet come first.

Selected projects

For homeowners in major cities, we read each home through light, proportion, and material. See how the surfaces sit alongside one another and how the rooms breathe.

Each image opens up the story of the project, from the choices and finishes to the rhythms of everyday living.

All projects

From concept to space

A cohesive project comes together from start to finish.

For homeowners in major cities, we maintain a single vision, from the first sketch to the last object placed in the room. We measure, choose materials using real samples, and check proportions in natural light.

You tell us how you live, and we organize the choices so the space remains clear and easy to use.

Process

Our process

We start with how you live and keep the direction clear through to the end. We work through four simple steps together.

01.

Direction

Together, we clarify the space, your way of life and what needs to stay. We set a direction and follow it through to the end.

02.

The concept

We develop proportions, light and materials into a cohesive concept. See how the layout, colors and textures come together.

03.

The selections

We coordinate finishes, furniture and objects, including custom pieces. Every choice has its place and proportion.

04.

The finishing touches

We add the final styling and prepare the space for living. We oversee the work on site carefully, until everything is in its place.

Studio

We work with intention, together with you.

We are Aurelia, an interior design studio for homeowners in major cities who are renovating or furnishing their homes and want one studio to coordinate the entire project. We guide it from the first sketch to the final object.

We consider proportions, light, and the way you live. We choose stone, wood, textiles, and lighting that stand the test of time, then bring them together without rushing.
